Here I am again. Done with my first month of paintings. I did 105 paintings plus 31 Zen drawings. I’m on pace to do more than I did last year. I’m not excited about my work, nor am I excited about doing them on most days. I haven’t missed a day, and on a lot of days I do three or four paintings. I still have no purpose for my life. I haven’t given up, but I have no idea which way to proceed. I did find the time to update my portfolio for the first month of 2026. I wish someone were here to do the mundane work for me. I suppose I’m doing well to have sat down to write this.

Here are some of the better pieces I’ve done so far:

It’s been pretty stress-free so far; I’ve painted anything I wanted to. No rules, just paint. Much less stress, but not a whole lot of quality coming out of the pipe.
