So, it’s New Year's Day, and here I am in my studio. I’ve caught up on all my portfolio stuff. I need to do a final count and see just how many pieces of art I did last year. I’ve done 365 Zen drawings, 365 Hand drawings/paintings, and 365 Head drawings/paintings. That’s 1,095 pieces of art right there. Plus all my big acrylics. Okay, hang on.

76 big (over 12” square) acrylic paintings. 1,171 pieces of art last year. I could have done many more had I been motivated. How many did I sell? Well, my records are mostly in my head, but it was less than 10. Less than one percent of what I created. It gets to me sometimes.

Anyway, let’s look at art.

As I said, it’s the first day of the year, and I have no real idea what my daily challenge is going to be. I have less than ten hours to come up with something. Just what I need, more pressure. Anyway, I’ll persevere. I usually do.
